Highland wedding Photographer – the ceremony itself…

It is now 21 years since I first took some photographs at a wedding – I broke my duck with a London wedding on the Queen mums birthday in 1990…Makes me feel more than a little long in the tooth…in my defence i was still in my teens then…weddings have changed (as have I)and then changed again over the years but one constant has been the ceremony…always one of the best parts of any wedding day…the tension at the start, the glances, the lovely words, the occasional tear, the kiss and of course the elation (and relief) once the deed is done…

As a primarily documentary wedding photographer I love the challenge of capturing all the different elements that make the wedding ceremony so special…recording it as it happens…those moments that are so precious to relive as the years pass…

Here is a small selection of images from Leanne and Rob’s wedding ceremony at the rather grand Eilean Donan castle over on the West Coast – a ceremony full of joy that included a lovely speech from Rob’s Dad…you can find the link to all their images here
